Hier ein offizielles Update, aber Shwebo liegt ohnehin nicht an der Traveller Route, gibt nicht sonderlich viel zu sehen dort... WACS - WCWB Info Earthquake in Myanmar 11.11.2011 -- 6.8. to 5 three times North of Mandalay There is usually No Tourism Area.... Myanmar - WCWB, 3 Earthquake, yesterday 6,8 and 5 magnitude in central Myanmar 11.11.2012 7:42 am - Mandalay division. 82 miles north of Mandalay City. - up to now 15 dead - Vice President was direct there and comforted the people and gave cash donations to victims - an in construction bridge collapsed where the most dead came from - most houses are Bamboo built = earthquake save places At Thabeikkyin Area - 102 houses are destroyed - 4 Schools are gone - 48 Departemental Buildings are destroyed - 21 religious Buildings are destroyed Official number was first at : - 3 dead - 35 injured Later info was that due to the earthquake we are on it upto now info 15dead mainly a bridge in construction broke and so many people working there ea Number s and figures will change and we will update you through direct wire to Ministery concerned |

Traveller berichtgen, es war sogar am Inle See deutlich spürbar, in Bagan allerdings nicht, in Mandalay selbst gabs nur kleine Schäden und keine Toten |
